Contents:
- Substance abuse, sexuality, ageing, risks to mental health and challenging behaviour as special challenges
- Different forms of rehabilitation and therapy
- Work methods that promote safety in difficult situations

Opintojakson oppimistehtävä suoritetaan työelämäyhteistyössä.

Välitehtävien palautus opintojakson aikana.
Kirjallisen tehtävän palautus opintojakson lopussa.
Tutkintosäännön mukaisesti oppimistehtävän palautukseen on kolme "eräpäivää". Opiskelijalle merkitään hylätty, jos ei ole ensimmäiseen ”eräpäivään” mennessä palauttanut vaadittuja suorituksia. Sen jälkeen opiskelijalla on oikeus kahteen uusintapalautukseen, jolloin opintojakson suoritukset oltava tehtynä/ uusittava. Mikäli suorituksesta ei saa hyväksyttyä kolmella suorituskerralla, merkitään opintojakso hylätyksi. Tämä tarkoittaa uudelleen opintojaksolle tulemista.

Student workload

5 op on 135 tuntia opiskelijan työaikaa. Opintojakson lukujärjestyksen mukaisia tunteja on 14 tuntia ja itsenäiseisen työn osuus on 121tuntia.

The student knows the theoretical basis and concepts that are used superficially in work situations. He identifies the structures and processes and legislation of the service system. The student describes the activity mainly with the help of practical information.

Professional activities:
The student identifies the needs of customer support and services and knows the basic skills of guidance and support. The student is familiar with a few professional work methods, legislation and social work practices.

Ethical competence and responsibility:
The student superficially / concisely identifies inclusion, agency and self-determination. The student acts in accordance with the values ​​and ethical principles of the profession.

Through their actions, the student promotes the realisation of fairness and inviolability of human dignity. They act in ways that increase participation, agency and self-determination.
