Objective

The student understands the main principles of financing. He/she knows the connection between risk and return.
He/she understands company’s basic capital structure and the cost of capital.
The student is familiar with the principles, terms and legislation governing investing.
The student knows how to make investment calculations and understands the meaning of time value of money.
He/ she knows the role of financial analysis in investing and finance.

Exam schedules

Study unit's exam is on the 5th of December 2023.
Retake exams are in Spring 2024.
All assignments must be submitted by the 8th of December 2023 in order to get your grade in 2023.

There are lectures for 48 hours.

He/she understands the impact of sustainability for investing.

Level 3

The student understands the principles of financing and is able to make financing and investing calculations.
He/she understands company’s capital structure and is able to utilise financial analysis for decision-making purposes.
The student is able to apply his/her knowledge of sustainability and investing for choosing the suitable investment opportunities for companies and or individuals

The student understands financing and is able to make financing and investing calculations with some analyse.
He/she has a good understanding of company’s capital structure and is able to utilise financial analysis for decision-making purposes.
