Objective

Learning outcomes: Students passing the course should have a molecular and cellular understanding of adaptive and innate immune reactions as one of the immunologic bases of most common human diseases.

Content

The course will provide an introduction to molecular and cellular immunology including the molecular basis of infectious diseases (including COVID-19), autoimmune diseases and allergy. This will also provide a basis for understanding chronic inflammation (see NUGE) and cancer immunotherapy (see CABI).

Qualifications

Bachelor level studies in biosciences.
