Objective

Upon completing the course, a successful student - Is able to itemize the characteristics of a scientific text. - Understands the ethical questions of conducting research. - Is technically prepared to produce a scientific text in a level that is required for completing the undergraduate seminar.

Time: 2nd Study Year, 4th period or 3rd Study Year, 1st period Offering data: The study unit is mandatory for all the students who are enrolled in undergraduate seminars. Campus: Joensuu Further information: In addition to Basics of Methodology, the students are expected to enrol in the study unit Information Skills in Theology (1 cp) which is organized by the university library. Execution methods

After enrolling in an undergraduate seminar, the student can take the online course (in eLearn) either in May or in August-September, preferably before the seminar begins.
