Objective
After completing the course, the student is able to: • describe the basic concepts and theories of positive psychology • describe and assess the psychosocial factors and mechanisms that affect well-being • design and implement actions to increase well-being • assess factors related to the professional well-being of the psychologist and maintain professional well-being
Content
The course contents include core concepts and theories of positive psychology and psychosocial factors and exercises affecting well-being. The course introduces various means and exercises that increase well-being and the students practice their use to support e.g. their own well-being. In addition, the course contents include well-being and the maintenance of well-being in the work of a psychologist.
