To provide students the essential practical knowledge and skills on how to enable and support the digital transformation process at enterprises.
The student knows how to and is able to plan and initiate the digital transformation processes according to the enterprise strategy.
Skills
The student is able to analyze the business environment of the case company identifying the potential benefits of the digital transformation.
The student Is able to define the digital transformation targets.
The student is able to prepare the digital transformation strategy proposal according to the enterprise development objectives.
Attitude
The student realizes that digital transformation is not just a technical change, but also a much more fundamental shift in the mindset. The latter implies the change in business models, organizational structures, strategies, data analytics, and ICT tools, which require reconsideration and new approaches.

0. The student did not submit the course assignments or these assignments did not meet the minimal quality requirements presented in the class.
1 – 2. The student understands mostly correctly the subject matter concepts and is able to apply them. However, there is a room for development in the content of the assignments. Business challenges and recommendations are rather general and are not elaborated in details.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
3 – 4. The student understands very well the subject matter concepts and is able to apply them into the working life. The student also understands well the role of different components and possibilities for digital transformation of businesses. Additionally, the student is able to give useful development recommendations utilizing his/her knowledge and skills.

5. The student understands deeply the subject matter concepts and is able to apply them correctly. The student also understands well and is able to analyze critically different factors and strategies in the digital transformation of enterprises. Moreover, the student is able to give useful development recommendations with proper argumentation in different situations.
