SAIRAANHOITAJA (AMK)
OSAAMISKUVAUS JA KOULUTUKSEN PROFIILI
Sairaanhoitaja (AMK) -tutkinnon suoritettuasi olet hoitotyön asiantuntija ja sinut laillistetaan sairaanhoitajana terveydenhuollon ammattihenkilöksi. Koulutus täyttää Euroopan neuvoston sairaanhoitajakoulutuksesta antamien direktiivien vaatimukset ja sisältää yleissairaanhoidosta vastaavan sairaanhoitajan osaamisen. Koulutuksella saavutat näyttöön perustuvan hoitotyön osaamisen, jossa keskeistä on ihmisen kohtaaminen ja vuorovaikutus, terveyden ja toimintakyvyn tukeminen, sairauksien ja toiminnan vajavuuksien ehkäiseminen ja hoitaminen, toipumisen ja kuntoutumisen tukeminen sekä kärsimyksen lievittäminen.
Lapin ammattikorkeakoulun sairaanhoitajakoulutuksessa sinulla on mahdollisuus vahvistaa osaamista etähoito- ja digipalveluosaamiseen ja luontoperustaiseen hoitotyöhön. Koulutuksessa voit saavuttaa monipuolisen hoitotyön ammatillisen osaamisen erilaisissa työelämän harjoitteluympäristöissä, digitaalisilla oppimisalustoilla sekä Lapin ammattikorkeakoulun kampusten hoitotyön oppimis- ja kehittämisympäristöissä.
Sairaanhoitaja (AMK) työllistyy sosiaali- ja terveyspalveluiden erilaisiin tehtäviin julkisella ja yksityisellä sektorilla sekä järjestöissä. Sairaanhoitaja (AMK) toimii hoitotyön asiantuntijana erilaisissa ympäristöissä asiakkaiden ja potilaiden kotihoidossa, vastaanotoilla ja osastoilla eri sosiaali-, terveydenhuollon ja kolmannen sektorin alueilla sekä digitaalisissa palveluympäristöissä. Sairaanhoitaja (AMK) voi työskennellä myös yrittäjänä ja kansainvälisissä tehtävissä.
KOULUTUKSEN SISÄLTÖ
Sairaanhoitajakoulutuksen opinnot perustuvat hoitotieteen lisäksi muihin sitä tukeviin terveystieteisiin ja tieteenaloihin kuten luonnon- ja lääketieteeseen sekä yhteiskunta- ja käyttäytymistieteisiin. Opetussuunnitelma koostuu ydinosaamisesta, profiloivasta osaamisesta sekä tutkimus- ja kehittämisosaamisesta. Ydinosaamista on se osaaminen, joka sisältyy yleissairaanhoitajan osaamisvaatimuksiin ja sisältöihin. Osaamista voit täydentää myös ristiinopiskelulla eli valitsemalla opintoja muilta koulutusaloilta, Lapin yliopiston tarjonnasta sekä muiden korkeakoulujen tarjonnasta tai osallistumalla Lapin ammattikorkeakoulun hankkeisiin ja innovaatiotoimintaan. Profiloivaa osaamista saavutat viimeisen lukukauden aikana valitsemillasi sairaanhoitajan vaihtoehtoisilla syventävillä opinnoilla. Tutkimus- ja kehittämisosaamiseen sisältyy tutkimus-, kehittämis- ja innovaatio-opintoja sekä opinnäytetyö. Sairaanhoitajakoulutuksen opintoihin sisältyy ammattitaitoa edistävää harjoittelua 90 opintopisteen laajuisesti. Opinnäytetyö (15 op) on osa harjoittelua, jossa osoitat valmiutesi työskennellä itsenäisesti ja hyödyntää näyttöön perustuvaa tietoa. Vapaasti valittavilla opinnoilla (5 op) voit laajentaa ammatillista osaamistasi oman valintasi mukaan.
Opetussuunnitelmassa opintojaksot muodostavat laajempia opintokokonaisuuksia eli moduuleja. Sairaanhoitajakoulutuksen moduulit tukevat sinua hoitotyön asiantuntijuuteen kehittymisessä. Koulutuksen sisältö rakentuu 1. lukuvuoden hoitotyön perehtyjästä 2. lukuvuoden hoitotyön harjaantujaksi ja 3. lukuvuoden hoitotyön soveltajan kautta 4. lukuvuoden hoitotyön kehittäjäksi. Ensimmäisen vuoden opinnoissa perehdyt asiakkaan ja potilaan kohtaamiseen sekä vuorovaikutukseen, sosiaali- ja terveysalan toimintaympäristöön, hoitotyön etiikkaan ja auttamismenetelmiin, hoitotyötä tukeviin monitieteisiin opintoihin sekä terveyden edistämiseen. Toisena opiskeluvuotena harjaannut näyttöön perustuvaan teoreettiseen ja kliiniseen hoitotyön osaamiseen, hoitotyön päätöksentekotaitoihin sekä ohjaus- ja opetusosaamiseen. Kolmannen vuoden opinnoissasi soveltajan tasolla painottuvat sosiaali- ja terveyspalveluiden laatuun ja turvallisuuteen liittyvä osaaminen.
Viimeisen lukuvuoden aikana syvennyt opinnoissa oman urasuunnitelman mukaisesti valitsemaasi kliinisen hoitotyön asiantuntijuusalueeseen, kuten kirurgiseen hoitotyön, perioperatiivisen hoitotyöhön, sisätautipotilaan hoitotyöhön, tehohoitotyöhön, päivystyshoitotyöhön, lasten- ja nuorten hoitotyöhön, ikääntyneiden hoitotyöhön tai mielenterveys- ja riippuvuuksien hoitotyöhön.
OSAAMISEN KEHITTYMINEN
Sairaanhoitajakoulutuksessa oppiminen on työelämäläheistä läpi koulutuksen, mikä toteutuu ammattitaitoa edistävässä harjoittelussa, opinnäytetyössä ja kampuksella simulaatioympäristössä (Aurora tai SKY). Myös Lapin ammattikorkeakoulun terveysalan Hyvinvointipysäkki, ONNI-auto ja Hyvinvointipiste Vire mahdollistavat sinulle työelämätaitojen kehittämisen, työelämäläheisen oppimisen ja harjoittelun. Työelämäläheisessä koulutuksessa osaamisesi kehittyminen on yhteydessä omaan motivaatioon ja opintoihin sitoutumiseen. Opiskelu on teoriaopetuksen ja käytännön vuoropuhelua ja yhdistämistä, oppimista itsenäisesti ja ryhmässä. Koulutuksen alusta lähtien sinua tuetaan yhteisölliseen oppimiseen, jossa yksilöllisen osaamisen kehittymisen tukena toimii opetus- ja ohjaushenkilöstö. Henkilökohtaisten opintopolkujen suunnittelussa tukena toimivat erityisesti opinto-ohjaajat.
Työelämäläheisen oppimisen mahdollistaa myös opinnollistaminen, jolla tarkoitetaan työn ja opintojen yhdistämistä. Opinnollistamisesta laaditaan suunnitelma ja se dokumentoidaan koulutuksessa sovitulla tavalla. Kansainvälisyys koulutuksen aikana toteutuu eri muodoin, kuten kansainvälisen lähdemateriaalin hyödyntämisenä, kansainvälisiin seminaareihin osallistumalla, kotikansainvälistymisenä sekä vaihto-opiskeluna ulkomailla. Vaihtoehtoisia opintojaksoja voit valita myös englanninkielisestä sairaanhoitajakoulutuksesta Kemin kampuksella. Voit hankkia osaamista myös vaihtoehtoisilla tai vapaasti valittavilla opinnoilla muista suomalaisista ja ulkomaisista korkeakouluista tai yliopistoista. Tutkintoosi voidaan myös hyväksilukea muualla suoritettuja korkeakouluopintoja.
Oppimista ohjataan kehittävän arvioinnin menetelmin, joihin osallistut itse, yhdessä toisten opiskelijoiden, opettajien ja työelämän ohjaajien kanssa. Arvioinnin perustana ovat kunkin opintojakson osaamistavoitteet ja arviointikriteerit, joiden avulla oppimistulokset voidaan tunnistaa. Osaamistavoitteet ja arviointikriteerit perustuvat työelämän edellyttämiin osaamiskokonaisuuksiin eli kompetensseihin, jotka jakautuvat kansallisesti määriteltyihin sairaanhoitajakoulutuksen kompetensseihin ja AMK-tutkintojen yhteisiin kompetensseihin. Sairaanhoitajakoulutuksen kompetenssit muodostavat ammatillisen asiantuntijuuden perustan. Yhteiset kompetenssit ovat perusta työelämässä toimimiselle, yhteistyölle ja asiantuntijuuden kehittymiselle. Osaamisen arvioinnissa hyödynnetään yleSHarviointi-hankkeessa kehitettyjä ja testattuja sairaanhoitajan kliinisen ydinosaamisen arviointimenetelmiä ja valtakunnallista koetta.
Sairaanhoitajakoulutuksen opintoja tai niiden osia voit hyödyntää henkilökohtaisiin opintopolkuihin, jatkuvaan oppimiseen, työelämässä olevana osaamisen kehittämiseen sekä erilaisiin polku- ja väyläopintoihin. Urakehitystäsi tuetaan opintojen ajan. Sairaanhoitaja (AMK) -tutkinnon ja kahden vuoden työkokemuksen jälkeen voit hakea ylempään ammattikorkeakoulututkintoon (YAMK) johtavaan koulutukseen. Voit jatkaa opintoja myös yliopistojen maisterikoulutuksissa kotimaassa tai Master-tason koulutuksissa ulkomailla.
