Objective

The student is able to communicate interactively in English in communication situations faced by an ICT-engineer. The student is able to prepare and give a professional presentation and can communicate professionally by phone and e-mail. The student is able to work in meetings and negotiations in English and can write memos, reports, abstracts and other texts related to the engineering profession and use a style appropriate to each situation. He understands texts in his field and is able to use information and communication technology terminology. The student takes multiculturalism into account in communication.

Has some knowledge of the technology company's procurement process and related documents. Follows negotiations and attends meetings, but needs support for active interaction. Writes documents, reports and other texts related to the engineering profession using aids. Masters some key technical terms in their field of technology and specialization. Uses the basic structures of the language most often correctly and pronounces in an understandable way. However, language skills limit communication. Occasionally demonstrates situational awareness in multicultural interaction.
Grade 2:
Represents a company in their field at a trade fair and is able to present the systems they represent in English mainly in an understandable way and draws attention to the appropriate style. Mainly familiar with the technology company's procurement process and related documents. Follows negotiations and attends meetings, but needs support for active interaction. Writes documents, reports and other texts related to the engineering profession using aids. Masters key technical and professional terms in their field. Uses the basic structures of the language mostly correctly and pronounces intelligibly. Language skills limit communication to some extent. Demonstrates a fairly good sense of situation in multicultural interaction, although language skills limit communication to some extent.
