Organic 3D ModelingLaajuus (15 cr)

Code: T26K124OJ

Credits

15 op

Teaching language

  • Finnish

Objective

You know how to make organic digital 3D models (people, animals, etc.) using advanced modeling methods. You know and master advanced modeling methods, e.g. image-based modeling and digital sculpting. You know how to modify the model's surface structure into a functional one.
You know how to make your 3D works available to the public both physically and digitally.

Content

You make organic digital 3D models (people, animals, etc.) using different modeling methods. You modify the character's surface structure into a functional one and attach the bones to the character. You move the character to the desired position. You control the transitions between analog and digital (image or physical object to digital model, digital model to physical piece). A physical and digital exhibition is built from the 3D works, which is open to the public.
