Objective

You know the different stages of the patient guidance process and the most important patient guidance methods. You can identify health risk factors and target early support to those who need it. You can identify existing and new health threats and know how to include them in the promotion of customers’ and patients’ health.
You know the key concepts, principles, theories and providers of health promotion.
You can use various methods of promoting health and functional capacity for different target groups. You know the principles of customer-oriented structured recording.
You can observe the respiratory and circulatory functions of adults, know the normal functioning or these systems and can identify changes in them.
You know how to use the most common methods of assisting nursing in respiratory and circulatory problems.

-Clinical nursing procedures: respiratory and circulatory control and monitoring methods (ABC: ECG, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature and NEWS scoring) and nursing assistance methods

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Satisfactory (1–2)
You can identify and describe the patient guidance process and the related legislation.
You can name and define the most important patient guidance methods.
You can identify and explain the concept of public health and name key health risk factors and threats.
You can explain the key concepts, principles, theories and providers of health promotion.
You can define the different stages of a customer-oriented and health-promoting guidance process and implement them under supervision.
You know and define various resource-driven methods of promoting health and functional capacity for different target groups and can implement them under supervision.
You identify the principles of structured recording.
You know and can assess patients’ basic vital functions in accordance with the ABC protocol, and you can support them under supervision.

You work mainly independently, responsibly and in compliance with legislation in the patient guidance process. You can choose and evaluate suitable patient guidance methods in a customer-oriented manner.
You can identify and explain the concept of public health and evaluate key health risk factors and threats.
You understand the key concepts, principles, theories and providers of health promotion.
You work mainly independently at different stages of the health-promoting guidance process and justify your actions at different stages of the process.
You mainly independently implement various resource-driven methods of promoting health and functional capacity for different target groups and can justify your actions.
You understand the principles of structured recording.
You can identify and assess patients’ basic vital functions according to the ABC protocol, and you can support them mainly independently.

You can interpret patient guidance legislation and assess its implementation in patient guidance.
You can independently plan and provide patient guidance following the patient guidance process and combine different patient guidance methods and evaluate their suitability.
You understand the concept of public health and can evaluate and combine key health risk factors and threats.
You understand the key concepts, principles, theories and providers of health promotion and can combine them with nursing.
You operate independently and n a customer-oriented manner at different stages of the health-promoting guidance process and can evaluate and justify your actions at different stages of the process.
