Objective

Student
• understand the importance of goal-oriented and strategic activities of social service organizations
• can evaluate and develop his/her own activities as a graduating social worker in the work community
• can describe and explain the principles of the legislation governing the social service community and organization, as well as financial and personnel management
• knows how to structure the main contents of the duties of a supervisor in the social services
• can assess their own capabilities to act in the duties of a supervisor in the social services.

Qualifications

Sosiaalialan asiakastyön harjoittelu 15 op ja syventävä harjoittelu 15 op tulee olla suoritettuna hyväksytysti.

Työyhteisö- ja organisaatio-opinnoista tulee joko Työyhteisön rakenne ja toiminta tai Lähijohtaminen ja hyvän hallintokäytön osaaminen olla vähintään aloitettuna ennen tätä harjoittelua.

Harjoittelupaikan tulee tukea ja syventää profiloivissa opinnoissa hankittua osaamista.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Pass:
The student was active in performing the work tasks in practical training. The student can assess and develop his/her own actions as a member of the work community as well as assess his/her own readiness to serve in a supervisory position. The student can describe and explain the legislation governing the activities of a work community or organisation as well as financial administration and human resources management. The student can assess the significance of networking in social services and present views on how to improve work practices. The student’s activities in the practical training complied with the ethical principles of the social services field, and they followed the rules of working life.

Fail:
The student’s actions during the practical training were passive and/or inappropriate. The student did not write a professional analysis or it did not follow the instructions.
