Objective
Living and Nursing in Finland 3 ECTS
Competence Goals:
The aim of the course is for the student to get acquainted with the Finnish society, its service systems and the public offices. The student becomes familiar with the health care and social services system in Finland and is able to guide and counsel the clients at different stages of this system. The student gets information about living, working and studying in Finland. S/he recognizes the changes and challenges caused by a new culture and language. The student is aware of the factors that affect the health of an individual and a community. S/he knows the common national diseases in Finland and the role of sustainable development in the work of a nurse.
