Objective
Strategic management is the art and science of formulating, implementing and evaluating cross-functional decisions that will enable an organization to achieve its objectives. Strategic management combines the activities of the various functional areas of a business to achieve organizational objectives. Strategic management provides overall direction to the enterprise. The main objective of this course is to familiarize students with the process of strategic management, activities associated with it (such as information gathering and analysis), and, finally, skills and abilities necessary for strategic management of an enterprise.

To pass the course students has to full fill following assessment criteria:
The student understands generally what strategic management is and why it is important. Also, the student knows some of the concepts and tools discussed in the course but (s)he has difficulties in explaining them and applying.
