Learning objectives:

The student

- can use art methods in self-expression and in groups
- is encouraged to try art methods in social services work

Contents:
- The construction of self-knowledge through the individual, communal and cultural environment
- Select art methods that activate and support participation in the social services field
- Practising directing a small-scale art project

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Workshops directed by students are assessed.
Self-assessment, peer review, instructor assessment.

Satisfactory (1–2):
The students have put little effort in planning the workshop. The topic is poorly defined and the work is lacking in logic. The implementation of the workshop is dull and the direction has only a few good moments. Art methods do not spark the interest of the participants.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Workshops directed by students are assessed.
Self-assessment, peer review, instructor assessment.

Good (3–4):
The students have put a good effort in planning the workshop and discuss their chosen topic in an interesting way. The implementation and direction of the workshop is successful. An unoriginal work method is applied in the workshop. The students avoid taking risks.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Workshops directed by students are assessed.
Self-assessment, peer review, instructor assessment.

Excellent (5):
The students have put an excellent effort in planning the workshop and discuss their chosen topic in a profound and multi-faceted way. The implementation and direction of the workshop is inspiring, insightful and controlled. Art methods are applied creatively in the workshop.
