Objective

Upon completion of the course the student: * has become familiar with the psychological way of thinking and the most central concepts of developmental psychology * knows how to view the psychological development of children and young people from various perspectives * is able to recognize and name the challenges that appear in the psychosocial development of children and adolescents * understands the importance of different social contexts for the psychological development and well-being of children and adolescents

Content

* psyche, development and learning - examination of concepts * stages and special features of psychological development in childhood and adolescence * challenges of psychosocial development (e.g. aggressiveness, loneliness and bullying) * supporting the psychological development and well-being of children and young people at home, in kindergarten and in schools
