Objective

Aim is to learn to describe system's motion by Lagrangian and Hamiltonian equations and taking into account the effect of rotating and/or accelarated motion of coordinate system (Noninertial Reference Frame) on equations. The course develops the following generic skills: critical thinking, identification and development of one's own expertise, and interaction and communication

Methods of completion

48 h lectures, 20 h exercises, 67 h independent studying

Methods of completion

Modes of study: Exercises (40% mandatory) and written exam or general exam. Evaluation criteria: Exercises pass-fail, exam 0-5 (approved performance 50% of the maximum points of the exam) or general exam 0-5 (approved performance 50% of the maximum points of the exam).
