Objective

Students will be able to - recognise social diversity and pluralism and evaluate their personal relationships to them from a professional perspective - identify structures and practices that can prevent or support social diversity - demonstrate knowledge of the principles of non-discrimination, human rights, equality promotion and sustainable development and apply them in practice - demonstrate an understanding of the role of human rights education in diverse societies and plan human rights education - organise and develop situations and activities that promote active citizenship.

Content

Students are introduced to various aspects of social diversity and learn to develop situations and activities that promote active citizenship. Students participate in the development and implementation of a non-discrimination plan or activity that promotes non-discrimination.
