Tavoitteet

Learning objectives:
Student is able to analyze, develop, evaluate and lead resource management in an industrial organization. He masters concepts of resources, resource planning and allocation. Student knows circular economy and resource management. Student is able to develop and support entrepreneurial mindset and behaviour in industrial organizations.
Main content:
- Central concepts of resources in modern organisations (tangible and intangible resources), methods for resource planning and allocation
- Concept and meaning of circular economy, effective and economic use of various resources, new means for resource acquiring
- Entrepreneurship in industrial organisations: mind-set and behaviour, effectuation and organisation development, human perspective.

Sisältö

The main topics of the course are:
- Concepts and methods of resources and resource planning and allocationin modern organisations (tangible and intangible resources),
- Circular economy, effective and economic use of various resources, new means for resource acquiring
- Entrepreneurship in industrial organisations.

Opetusmenetelmät

Orientation exercise in the Moodle environment. Two concatct dates: 12 March 2020 contains introduction and methods and tools for resource planning. Between the contact dates students work with a team exercise. The outcome of team work is introduced during the second contact date 16 April 2020.
