Learning objectives:
The student:
- knows the system of social and health services providing welfare and social security and its functions
- knows the main principles of the Social Welfare Act (1301/2014) in regard to social services
- knows the main principles of the Act on the Status and Rights of Social Welfare Clients in the implementation of social services
- can take the significance of distances into account in social services

Location and time

Toteutus viikoilla 44-51 vahvistetun työjärjestyksen mukaisesti joko kontaktiopetuksena tai AC etäyhteyden kautta.

Teaching methods

Toteutus kontakti- ja etäopetuksena sekä itsenäisenä työskentelynä Moodle- alustalla.
Kontakti- ja etäopetuksessa noudatetaan Lapin amk:n ohjeita.
Yksilö-, pari-, ja ryhmätehtäviä toteutuksen aikana viikoilla 44-51. Yksilöllinen ja yhteistoiminnallinen oppiminen. Opiskelija saa palautetta opettajalta ja toisilta opiskelijoilta.
Osa tehtävävistä arvioidaan hyväksytty/täydennettävä.
Kurssin lopussa tehtävä itsenäinen kirjallinen tehtävä hylätty/1-5 annettujen arviointikriteerien mukaisesti.
Läsnäolovelvoite 80% tunneista.

The student has a good grasp of the principles of welfare policy and the basis of social and health policy. The student has a good grasp of the contents and service systems of the Health Care Act, Social Welfare Act and Act on the Status and Rights of Social Welfare Clients.

Excellent (5):
