Learning objectives:

The student
- can apply principles of guiding children in planning early childhood educational activities
- plans, carries out and assesses art education based on children’s own play, narrative and expression
- can act in a child-oriented manner and take into account the developmental level of children as well as pedagogic and didactic needs as the basis for activities
- expands and deepens their concept of children’s culture and forms thereof as well as understand the importance of children’s culture for a child’s development
- understands the basic principles of play pedagogy
- is able to plan, implement and evaluate play pedagogical activities in early childhood education

The student’s documentation and implementation of activities demonstrates a grasp of the themes discussed. The implementation is fairly mechanical. The learning objectives are fulfilled to a degree.

Good (3–4):
The student’s documentation and implementation of activities demonstrates a good grasp of the themes discussed. The implementation is creative. The learning objectives are fulfilled to a good degree.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Excellent (5):
The student’s documentation and implementation of activities demonstrates an excellent grasp of the themes discussed. The implementation is creative in a versatile and inspiring way. The learning objectives are fulfilled to an excellent degree.

Fail (0):
The student’s documentation and implementation of activities does not demonstrate any grasp of the themes discussed. The learning objectives are not fulfilled.
