Objective

Upon course completion, the student know how to apply narrative methods in photography to use, understands the principles of lighting and expression, knows how to apply them in their pictures and knows how to develop abilities in thinking, planning and expression.

Execution methods

Lectures/exercises, demonstrations, critiques 48 h. Independent work 60 h. Contact, in class, teaching (48 h).

Content

The student learns aspects of studio and portrait photography and applies the observation of different kinds of light, from natural light to studio light towards concrete image making in both controlled and uncontrolled conditions.
