Objective

Upon completing the course, the student knows how to choose a personal photography subject and create a picture exhibition independently. In addition, the student knows how to present their own photographic artistic works and analytically evaluate both their own and others' photographic artistic work.

Execution methods

Lectures/exercises, demonstrations, critiques 48 h. Independent work 60 h. Contact, in class, teaching (48 h).

Starting production requires that other studies included in the grade of basic photography studies have been completed.

Accomplishment methods

Photo production. After completing the work, the student prepares a written report, which contains a summary of the problems included in the work process, their solutions and the basis for the solutions, as well as a description of the entire process from start to finish.

Content

The student learns independent artistic production for individual photographic expression. In the course, the student will get to know different presentation methods in photographic art and the basics of exhibiting (priming, framing, hanging). In addition, we will familiarize ourselves with the profession and working life of photographers.

The performance corresponds to the assignment, shows understanding and the ability to analyze and justify. A high-quality overall picture has been formed, but there may be some finishing touches.

Excellent (5)
In the performance, a broad whole is outlined and knowledge can be applied multidimensionally or placed in different contexts. The performance shows an independent approach and insight. The performance is an intact entity that contains justified own thinking or critical reflection.
