Objective

You recognize yourself as a creative actor and know how to use creative thinking in your activities, as well as working methods and assessment items that support creativity. You know how to analyze your own artistic work. You know how to visualize experience and living. You can build your portfolio based on the works of the semester (start here, develop during your studies). As a visual artist, you know the northern operating environment and how to act responsibly in the environment. You are able to observe society, its values ​​and human life and find points of departure and convergence from them in the art of other visual artists and in your own art.

Execution methods

The course includes lectures, independent and guided learning tasks, and getting to know the area and operators. You will start building your portfolio during this course.

Content

You build a competence portfolio from your work in the 1st semester.
You participate in group work, the theme of which is the working environment of a visual artist. You observe society, its values and human life and find points of departure and convergence from them in the art of other visual artists and in your own art. You will get to know creative thinking and the creative way of working of a visual artist.
During the study period, the principles of sustainable development are taken into account

Osaat koota osaamisportfolion. Opiskelija osaa noudattaa laatimaansa aikataulua ja esitellä
tekemistään ryhmälle. Osaat antaa palautetta ja ymmärrät palautteen merkityksen. Pystyt hyödyntämään pohjoisen alueen kulttuuri ja elinkeinoelämää työskentelyssäsi. Osaat tehdä riskianalyysin ja turvallisuussuunnitelman. Pystyt hyödyntämään pohjoisen alueen luontoresursseja
työssäsi. Työskentelysi on kestävän kehityksen mukaista. Pystyt hyödyntämään alueen kulttuurituntemusta työssäsi ja luovaa ajattelua toiminnassasi.

Osaat koota osaamisportfolion. Opiskelija osaa johtaa omaa ajankäyttöään ja esitellä omaa
tekemistään laaja-alaisesti.

Osaat luoda yhteyksiä pohjoisen alueen kulttuuri ja elinkeinoelämään. Osaat johtaa ryhmän
työskentelyä turvallisesti pohjoisen luonnon oloissa. Työsi hyödyntää pohjoisen alueen
luontoresursseja kestävän kehityksen mukaisesti. Luovat ja perustellut ratkaisut ohjaavat toimintaasi.
