Objective
After completing the course, the student is able to:
- work on a multidisciplinary, large-scale and / or international design project, including project planning, documentation and monitoring phases
- work in a multidisciplinary team of 7-12 students from different fields of study and / or study backgrounds
- present the project visually and verbally to a multidisciplinary and international audience
Execution methods
Total work 270 h: Project presentations (6 h), project supervision (approx. 70 h), independent work and participation in the final seminar and / or exhibition.
Accomplishment methods
Active participation in project steering meetings, project plan, project implementation and project reporting as required. Interim and final presentations of the project, and as agreed in the publication or exhibition.
Content
Working in a demanding multidisciplinary project in your own design field, utilizing previous project studies skills. Sharing responsibilities in the group for project planning, implementation, documentation, evaluation and reporting. The content areas and targets of the project are selected annually from current themes and may include multidisciplinary and / or international sections.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
0: The performance is very incomplete or incorrect, or contains significant misunderstandings.
1-2: Performance is narrow, superficial, or poorly matched to assignment. The performance is limited to listing things in isolation, or dealing with things unilaterally. Execution may contain errors or ambiguities.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
Performance corresponds to assignment, demonstrates understanding and the ability to analyze and justify. The whole picture has been formed, but there may be shortcomings.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The performance outlines a broad entity and the knowledge can be applied multidimensionally or placed in different contexts. Performance demonstrates independent grip and insight. Performance is an intact entity that includes justified self-thinking or critical reflection. The answer is well written or implemented.
