Content

The course will engage participants in reflecting how organization studies carry cultural assumptions concerning gender, race and ethnicity, and other intersectional differences, and how these assumptions are ingrained in organizational processes and practices. The course offers frameworks and tools for analyzing gendering and racializing organizational processes and practices and provides ideas on how such exclusionary practices could be challenged. The examples discussed during the course explore people and organizations in different societal and cultural contexts and multinational corporations.
