Environmental art workshop (2 credits) in Kittilä
Hey! Now is a great opportunity to participate in a community environmental art workshop, which will be organized in the experience and accommodation destination Loihtua, located in Kittilä's Köngäs village! During the workshop, we will make willow sculptures in the Loihtua’s area and enjoy the community atmosphere.
Time: in week 22, days 30.5-4.6.2023 (Tuesday-Sunday) (travel to the destination already on Tuesday 30.5) For participating in the workshop, you will receive two (2) credits of course completion. Course code: UYTY06 Environmental art workshop
The course is taught by 4 master's students in visual arts education. The responsible teacher is Timo Jokela.

Traveling
The university pays for travel and accommodation. Those who sign up for the course will be given information about the bus schedule and departure point later.
Eating
Meals are at your own expense. The possibility of dining is in the restaurant Elli located in the courtyard. The accommodation has good kitchen facilities where you can cook your own food. The nearest shop is in Levi, which you can sometimes visit by car. You should bring your own snacks!
Equipment
Note! In the workshop, most of the work is done outside
Bed linen, blankets, pillows, towels, etc. are ready at the accommodation. Appropriate equipment (we are outside a lot). Bring warm clothes and equipment that can withstand dirty work, as well as work gloves.
