Asian art extended course. Students can deepen their knowledge of the asian art. Ideal for students who want to know more about Asian contemporary art. Since the early 80s of the twentieth century, contemporary art forms have been used effectively by artists from Asian regions, bringing in many local specific elements, creating new art waves which attract generations of artists and the public to join. Therefore, most naturally, contemporary art in Southeast Asia has conveyed a multidimensional social voice while penetrating deeply into the human psychology aspect of life's changes in different ways. Students will also study about some artists from the Philippines, Myanmar, Indonesia... to get inspiration how they could recreate phenomena of nature, climate, and people through special perspectives. The curriculum combines integrative core lecture with the opportunity to make an online exhibition on Instagram. Core lessons teach students the main information about contemporary Asian art studies. To complement the course students can choose from a variety of voluntary assignments offered regularly by teacher besides the compulsory assignments.
