Opetusmenetelmät

The course will run on campus from 28th to 30th of March 2022. It’ll be an intensive three-day dive into contract management, including group work, negotiation exercise, and a final quiz about research and practice of contract management.

The course is taught by two practitioners, Doctor of Laws Suvi Hirvonen-Ere and Tony Alcock. In addition to their extensive practical experience in global business life, both Suvi and Tony have been teaching about Contract Management in various universities. The days will be long (9-17) but rewarding and, hopefully, entertaining!

The course is suitable for undergraduates and graduate students as well as exchange students interested in contracts, commercial issues and relationship management. Basic studies in commercial and contract law and/or in supply chain management are recommended as previous studies.

Enroll for the course in Peppi. In the Peppi system, the course operates under the course “Proactive Law and Legal Design”. The enrollment is open until 13th March.

To attend the course, you have to do a pre-course case study exercise that is handed over to you 2 weeks prior to lectures via Moodle. You must submit your answer to Moodle by 12.00 EET on Thursday 24th March. Also, there will be a multiple choice test organized on the final day of contact teaching. For the test, you have to read four articles that discuss topics related to the field of contract management. The articles can be found from the course’s Moodle page.

More information about the course, including the enrollment key for Moodle, will be sent to you once the enrollment is closed.
