Further information

This online course introduces the students to the harmonized rules of private international law within the European Union. The course will cover the three main topics of private international law: jurisdiction, applicable law, and recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments.
Instructions for accessing the course’s workspace in Moodle will be provided before the beginning of the course. All necessary study material will be provided during the course through Moodle.

During the course the students will work in groups of 3–4 students. The course consists of 2 writing assignments, that are completed in these groups. The course is conducted completely online. Participating to this course requires active participation throughout the whole duration of the course.

By attending this online course the students are awarded 2 ECTS (OTM0002D-1). After this, the students can then take the written exam, for which they will be awarded 3 ECTS (OTM0002D-2).
