Objective

Learning Outcomes:

Student
  - can develop writing and speaking skills (attitude, knowledge and skills)

Teaching methods

Opetusmenetelmät ja oppimisympäristöt:
Tunneilla harjoitellaan puhe- ja kirjoitusviestinnän taitoja. Kontaktitunneilla sovelletaan viestinnän teoriaa itsenäisesti ja ryhmätyönä.
Luennot. Yksilö- ja ryhmäharjoitukset. Moodle-oppimisympäristö.
Oppimistehtävät:
puheviestintä (2,5 op)
puheviestinnän kehittämistehtävä/essee 0 - K5 yksilötehtävä
suullinen alustus/puhevideo (3 - 5 minuuttia): yksilötehtävä, arviointi 0 - K5.
ryhmän suullinen esitys valmistellusta aiheesta: neuvottelu/kokous aiheena
suullisen viestinnän harjoituksia tunneilla: läsnäolopakko.

Läsnäolo:
tunneilla tehdään kirjallisia ja suullisia tuntiharjoituksia, mikä vaatii läsnäoloa. Läsnäolo väh. 80 %.

Exam schedules

ei tenttiä. Kirjallisten tehtävien palautus Moodlessa palautuskansioihin. Suulliset esitykset palautettava ohjeiden mukaisessa aikataulussa.
* Tehtävien palautus opintojakson aikana 31.8. - 16.10.2022. Mikäli opiskelija ei ole palauttanut tehtävää ko. aikana, on arvosana ko. tehtävästä hylätty.
** Toinen palautusjakso on 17.10. - 15.12.2022. Mikäli opiskelija ei ole palauttanut ko. tehtävää ko. aikana, on arvosana ko. tehtävästä hylätty nro 2.
*** Kolmas palautusjakso on 15.12.2022 - 31.5.2023. Mikäli opiskelija ei ole palauttanut ko. tehtävää ko. aikana, on arvosana ko. tehtävästä hylätty nro 3, ja koko OJ on hylätty.

**** Edelleen puuttuvien tai hylättyjen tehtävien palautus viimeistään seuraavan lukukauden aikana tutkintosäännön mukaisesti. Mikäli opintojaksoa ei ole suoritettu valmiiksi kevätlukukauden 2023 aikana (palautettu hyväksytyt (väh. T1-arvosana) viim. 31.5.2023, tulee opiskelijan suorittaa koko 5 op:een OJ uudestaan, mahdollisesti muuttuneiden vaatimusten mukaisesti (Lapin AMKin tutkintosääntö).

The assessment is done through peer review of self-assessment and teacher feedback. The assessment criteria have been derived from the practised skills and are laid down at the beginning of the course and used throughout the learning process.

Speech communications (assessed on a scale of 1–5):

Satisfactory (1–2):
With guidance, the student can write texts that comply with the genre conventions of working life and the degree programme and are suited to the intended purpose of the text. The student’s texts do not fully comply with the genre conventions and the intended purpose of the text. The structure, language, style, tone, layout and source references of the text have deficiencies in regard to the genre conventions.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Good (3–4):
The student can write texts that comply with the genre conventions of working life and the degree programme and are suited to the intended purpose of the text. The student’s texts comply with the genre conventions and the intended purpose of the text. The structure, language, style, tone, layout and source references support the object of the text as regards the content and communications.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Excellent (5):
The student can independently and creatively write texts that comply with the genre conventions of working life and the degree programme and are suited to the intended purpose of the text. The student’s texts comply with the genre conventions and the intended purpose of the text. The structure, language, style, tone, layout and source references support the object of the text as regards the content and communications.
