Työpajan suunnitteluun ja sisältöön liittyvä aineisto tulee hankkia itsenäisesti.
Teaching methods
Läsnäolovelvollisuus 80%, työpajat 100%
Opinnot toteutetaan yhteistoiminnallisesti, tutkivasti, kokeilevasti ja kokemuksellisesti. Opintojakson alussa tulee tehdä ennakkotehtävä. Lisäksi tulee tehdä visuaalinen välitehtävä. Opintojakson opetussisältö koostuu toiminnallisista, aisteja ja mielikuvitusta virittävistä harjoituksista sekä työskentelystä sanallisen ja sanattoman ilmaisun, valokuvan, musiikin, draaman sekä kehon alueella. Osallistava työpajatyöskentely päättää kurssin.
Kurssin kantavana teemana on asiakkaan hyvinvoinnin tukeminen. Oppimistehtävät koostuvat itsenäisestä työskentelystä kirjallisessa sekä visuaalisessa muodossa sekä yhteistoiminnallisesta työpajatyöskentelystä. Kurssin hyväksytty suorittaminen edellyttää osallistumista lähijaksojen työskentelyyn (work-shopit pakollisia) sekä oppimistehtävien tekoa yksin ja ryhmässä.
Tavoitteena opintojaksolla on:
Tutustuminen eri taidelähtöisiin menetelmiin ja niiden kokeileminen.
Ryhmän työskentelyn suunnittelu ja ohjaus.
Sosiaalialalla käytettäviin taidelähtöisiin menetelmiin tutustuminen sekä osallistavan työpajan rakentaminen, toteuttaminen ja arviointi pienryhmässä.

Työpajat järjestetään vain kerran. Jos opiskelija on perustellusta syystä estynyt osallistumaan työpajaan, hänen tulee suunnitella, toteuttaa ja arvioida työpaja asiakkaiden kanssa itsenäisesti.

Teachers evaluate the written work of the student workshop, which includes the theoretical part and the action plan, approved / rejected.
Evaluation of the written plan:
Approved:
The instructions given have been followed as required. All aspects have been addressed and justified. Art orientation is justified. The transitions have received attention and have been described. The division of roles is highlighted. The goals have been defined. The whole is logical enough. The language is good. Adequate resources have been used. The source references are mostly marked correctly.
Fail: The instructions in the workshop plan have not been followed as required. The instructed elements of the plan are not justified or are confused. The workshop plan is not art-based. Transition situations have not been described and the division of roles is missing or very unclear. Goals are missing. The whole is narrow and fragmented / confusing. The language is weak. Sources not used / sources not suitable. Source references are missing or incorrectly marked.
Criteria for evaluating the implementation of the workshop:
Approved:
The implementation of the workshop is planned and has been built smoothly. The guidance is relatively clear and client inclusive.
Fail: The implementation of the workshop is fragmented and inconsistent. Guidance is weak and lacks planning and instructor contact with participants. There is no theme in the workshop and its purpose remains unclear. There is a lack of art-based work. The workshop is not and does not allow for group collaboration.

The student masters the possibilities of art-based activities and the cultural environment to strengthen the building of individual and community self-knowledge. The student is familiar with various art-based functional and inclusive methods that can be utilized in the social field and early childhood education. The student is able to deepen his or her own self-knowledge through art-based activities and use interesting ways to apply art-based activities as part of client work.
Professional activities:
The student is well acquainted with the design of art-based work (eg a workshop) and deals with the chosen topic in an interesting way. The implementation and supervision of art-based work (eg workshop) is successful.
Ethical competence and responsibility:
The student is able to reflect on the suitability of art-based work and the success of realized art-based work in client work. He / she is able to act in an ethically sustainable and customer-appreciating and appropriate manner.
Fail:
Professional knowledge base and concepts:
The student is not able to describe the possibilities of art-based activities and cultural environment to strengthen the building of individual and community self-knowledge. The student is not familiar with art-based functional and inclusive methods that can be utilized in the social field or early childhood education. The student does not expand his or her own self-knowledge through art-based activities and does not experience an interest in using art-based activities as part of client work.
Professional activities:
The student has not focused on planning art-based work (e.g. workshop). The topic cannot be cropped and the work is inconsistent. The implementation of art-based work is unexpected and the guidance is only momentary. Art-based work does not arouse interest in the participants.
Ethical competence and responsibility:
The student is not able to describe the suitability of art-based work and the success of realized art-based work in client work. He does not act in an ethically sustainable and customer-appreciative and appropriate manner.
