Objective
Project is available for all Engineering, Industrial engineering students.
The student may earn 5-15 ECTS.
Content
Students take part into a real world projects, will take care of the project management as well as will produce the material/documents appropriate.
Project topics come from the ICT laboratories of Lapland UAS
Project can be realized within 1 - 3 months (5-15 ECTS)

Basics of project management, Basics of programming
Location and time
Flexible implementation: Scheduling is depending on the exchange period and content in student's learning agreement. Project can be realized within 1-3 months.
Exchange period in ICT education department in Lapland UAS starts with the common Teams meeting "Get Together" on 6th September 2021. Invitation for this will be sent you by email on the previous week at the latest.
The actual project work studies start in the same week according to the time table. The venue and manner of the event will be announced in connection with the "Get Together" event.
After the inaugural session, the timing of the project work will be determined in accordance with the project-specific project plans, so there are not any markings in the main time table after this. Project teams work independently according to their own schedule. Instructors support projects and progress is ensured through regular progress reviews, which are also scheduled together in project plan. The projects utilize agile method and Teams is used for collaboration and communication.
Final seminar will be held on 8th December 2021.

Project management is broadly in line with the PMBOK concept.

The student participates in the implementation of the project and completes the given tasks. The student manages the project according to the chosen phasing model and approach and produces the required documentation. Work amount follow up is required and affects to approval.
