Objective
After successfully completing the course, the doctoral candidate will:
• understand the motivation, benefits, principles and challenges of Open Science
• understand Open Science as part of the entire research cycle
• be able to choose and use the right OA route for her/him understanding the risks and legal issues related to OA
• be aware of reasons for creating a Data Management Plan (DMP)
• know of responsibilities in relation to handling personal data
• be able to choose tools for opening the research process.
Execution methods
The course will take place online.
Accomplishment methods
During the course, the doctoral candidate shall take part in the discussion on the discussion forum of the course platform. Using the course material provided and together with own comments, the doctoral candidate will compile a personal handbook about open science and research.
