Objective
During the course, the student strengthens his / her practical safety skills and outlines the importance of safety in working life. You will become familiar with the concept of safety and understand the scope of safety with its various aspects and requirements.

Further information
Passports related to the course will be paid in advance by 15.9. depending on which passport / test the student completes. For the spring semester, the deadline for the fees is 15th of January.
Passport / card prices (Lapland University of Applied Sciences students, incl. VAT 0%. Tourism research, VAT 24% is added to the price):
Occupational safety card: 50 euros (incl. Training day and material)
Tourism safety passport: 50 euros (incl. Training day and material)
International first aid card: 50 euros (incl. Training day and material)
Hygiene passport: 35 euros (incl. Opportunity to attend lectures)
Alcohol pass: 35 euros (incl. Opportunity to participate in lectures)

Toteutukset: passien edellyttämät koulutukset ja testit
Accomplishment methods
The student strengthens his / her skills in four different areas and completes various trainings and proficiency tests (at least 4) from the skills tray.
- Occupational safety card (= basics of occupational safety, the card requires participation in a training day, group of max. 30 people)
- Tourist safety passport Matupa (= basics of tourism security, passport requires participation in a training day, group size max. 30 people)
- International first aid card EFR (First aid criteria, EA1 equivalence, card requires participation in a training day, group size max. 12 people)
- Hygiene passport (= food hygiene competence, competence is demonstrated by a test, voluntary lectures to prepare for the test, max. 30 people in the test)
- Alcohol passport (= knowledge of the Alcohol Act and its control methods, competence is demonstrated by a test, voluntary lectures preparing for the test, max. 30 people in the test)
The student can prove his / her competence with a valid card / passport gained elsewhere. This is approved by the Responsible Teacher.
