MultiPro Orientation (2op)

Osaamistavoitteet

1. Becoming familiar with the Iisalmi Campus and its facilities. 2. Getting to know fellow exchange students, exploring different cultures, and gaining insight into Finnish culture as well as the local study and living environment. 3. Gaining more introduction to the overal One Welfare Programme Objectives as well as Content and further exploration of the programme modules in joint, multidisciplinary discussions. 4. Motivating students for their upcoming studies and providing support for better understanding the academic expectations at Savonia UAS. 5. Introducing key information systems such as Savonia email, printing and the eLearning platform Moodle. 6. Enhancing scientific writing skills accordingly to Savonia referncing style as well as practical use of Savonia Report Template.

Sisältö

1. Introduction to the whole MultiPro study module, practical study arrangements and general evaluation criteria, information about Savonia and the town of Iisalmi, international tutoring system, and documents related to exchange. 2. Introduction to information systems (email, Moodle etc.) at the Savonia UAS, scientific writing by using Savonia referencing style as well as Savonia Report Template. 3. Introduction to One Welfare Study Programme, guided multidisciplinary discussions around the One Welfare Programme Conent.
