Objective
After completing the course, the student knows the key concepts and physical laws related to mechanics. The student is able to visually outline problems within subject areas and can formulate equations describing the setup from definitions and principles. The student can solve these equations using mathematical analysis. The student is able to perform experimental measurements and interpret their observations with the help of theoretical background and selected mathematical methods. The student is able to evaluate the reliability of their results and knows the basic requirements in scientific reporting. The student is able to give reasoned explanations of physical phenomena and technological applications without calculations.
