Objective
After completing the three-credit course, the student can: Explain the goals of the circular economy Understand how the circular economy can be applied in different sectors
Content
The Circular.now online course consists of five different topics. The first topic examines the use of current resources, challenges, and explores the circular economy model. Topics 2–5 dive into the following themes from the perspective of the circular economy: a sustainable food system, forest-based cycles, technical cycles, and transportation and the sharing economy.

Execution methods
Studying Circular.now takes place in the DigiCampus MOOC environment. Login to the Digicampus /Climate University website through the HAKA login using your UEF username. Study the course materials independently and do the multiple-choice exam in each section. You can then download the course certificate and submit it as well as an approximately two-page essay on "What did I learn about the circular economy?". Submit the certificate and the essay by email: jukka.sihvonen@uef.fi You can submit the certificate and the essay at any time, but the teacher will only evaluate the submitted work twice during the academic year. The work submitted during the autumn semester will be evaluated after December 14th. and the work submitted during the spring semester after May 14. Make sure to submit your work by these dates.
