Introduction to the principles and laws of thermodynamics.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Grades 0-5 as a sum of exam and exercise points. The results of both the exam and exercises remain separately valid for the next year of lecture.

Atkins Peter, de Paula Julio, Keeler James, Atkins’ Physical Chemistry, 12. edition, Chapters 1-3 and material delivered during the course.

Execution methods

Lectures on-line, exercises as contact teaching in groups. Exam in lecture room.

Accomplishment methods

Participation in online lectures (24h) and exercises (12h, contact teaching in groups). The exam contributes 80% and compulsory exercises 20% to the final grade.
