Objective

After completing the course, the student will be able to • master the basics of independent and safe working in laboratory. • use laboratory techniques in both inorganic gravimetric analytics and organic synthetics. • write scientific reports.

Content

Course consists of safety walk at the Department of Chemistry, of learning to write correct laboratory notes and laboratory report, and of laboratory sessions, which focus on organic synthesis and gravimetry.

Qualifications

Laboratory and chemical safety.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Passed/failed based on carrying out practical work and reporting.
