Objective

Learning outcomes: Understanding and design of air flow dynamics and design of ventilation. Practical skills for measuring of ventilation parameters The study unit develops the following generic skills/generic competences: digitalization, leadership and development, sustainability and responsibility, critical thinking, identification and development of expertise, interaction and communication.

Content

The course includes the principles of air, and contaminant movement inside buildings, airflow measurement methods, chemical laboratory ventilation, the design of industrial exhaust ventilation, various other control methods, ventilation and air conditioning of industrial and non-industrial buildings, the role of material emissions, hygiene of the ventilation system
