Objective

Learning outcomes: After completing this study unit, the student will be familiar with a specific subject within English language, literature, or culture, as well as its basic concepts and research methods. The student will be familiar with academic literature related to the chosen subject and will have acquired specialized knowledge of the field. The course develops the following work life skills: Meaning making, social intelligence, management of large entities, information sources and source critique, language skills, time management and prioritization, self-development, special knowledge of a country/cultural area Generic competences: ethics, internationality, sustainability and responsibility, critical thinking, identification and development of expertise, interaction and communication
