Objective
An introductory business course that helps students learn business terminology and provides preliminary study into the areas business planning, ethics, business ownership, business management, human resource management and business cultures.
The purpose is to study and analyze the Barents region as a learning environment from an entrepreneurial perspective.
The aim is to develop competences needed in cross-border business in travel and hospitality in Arctic regions such as service-mindedness, internationalization, service management, business know-how, innovativeness, ethics, service environments for travel and hospitality, and team-working.
Teaching methods
Lectures and group work, active LearnLinc participation. Case-based teaching and discussions. Team and individual assignment. Presentation of papers.
