Current Topics in Design (2cr)

Objective

The student has knowledge of and can discuss the introduced current design topics. The student is able to discuss the topics in the perspective of their own design field.

Content

The course introduces current topics in design. The course topics are determined annually based on the current new topics of interest arising in the broad field of design. The study material is scientific articles, news articles and media content, lectures and expert workshops. The materials will be defined at the start of the course.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Passed: Essay or study diary completed with approval
Rejected: Incomplete performance of required tasks

Execution methods

14 h of contact teaching and 40 h of independent work.

Essay or study diary according to agreement. Accepted / rejected
