Objective

After the course student:

- understand the nature of historical knowledge, know the main principles of historical research and understand history as a discipline.
- can present what they have learned orally and in writing.
- has developed critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, self-direction, initiative and cooperation skills

Content

- familiarisation with different historical research materials
- interpreting research data
- carrying out your own research using historical research methods, which may also be done in pairs

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Rejected:
The work done is very incomplete, incorrect, contains significant misunderstandings or is poorly aligned with the assignment.

Passed:
The work done corresponds to the assignment, demonstrates mastery and regularity of the thesis and independent work.
