Objective

Student
• know the underlying individual and social factors of elderly clients: physical, psychological and social factors, livelihood and social inclusion
• can describe the concept and goals of gerontological social service work and gerontological social work
• knows the key working methods of working with the elderly (preventive work, client and service guidance, service need assessment, gerontological social work)
• applies the key legislation for working with the elderly and acquires current research information.
