Thesis Implementation (5op)

Osaamistavoitteet

The student can conduct his/her own research in an independent and responsible way. He/she can retrieve, handle and apply information as well as use proper method(s) in conducting and reporting the research and its results. He/she can critically evaluate his/her own work and its progress and is able to develop them. The student can write the thesis report according to the academic writing rules and the requirements of Lapland UAS.

Pass
The student conducts his/her own research in an independent and responsible way by retrieving, handling and applying information as well as using proper method(s). He/she makes an analysis on the research results based on the theoretical background and takes a critical approach to them as well as his/her own work. The student writes the thesis report according to the academic writing rules and the requirements of Lapland UAS and shows therefore progress in the thesis process. All the assignments are performed according to the instructions and deadlines.

Fail
The student does not complete the assignments according to the instructions and deadlines or does not attend the learning situations enough or at all.
