Student is able to distinguish HRM as function in an organization as well as tasks and aims of HRM. He/She is able to distinguish role of leadership in an organization and is able to apply leadership skills in different business situations.
Content of the course:
- Introduction to the course
- What is Human Resource Management (HRM)?
- First learning cycle: Strategic role of HRM
- Second learning cycle: Recruitment and selection
- Third learning cycle: Assessing performance and developing people.
- Fourth learning cycle: HRM and organizational performance
- Fifth learning cycle: Leadership and management
