Evaluation target: The student can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases. The student can interact in simple everyday situations in Finnish provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

Satisfactory
The student can introduce him-/herself and answer questions about personal details in Finnish with strong assistance. The student is able to interact in the simplest everyday situations with strong assistance in Finnish.

The student can introduce him-/herself as well as ask and answer questions about personal details in Finnish. The student is able to interact in simple everyday situations with some assistance in Finnish

Excellent
The student is able to introduce him-/herself as well as ask and answer questions about personal details fluently in Finnish. The student is able interact in simple everyday situations fluently in Finnish.
