Learning outcome:
Thesis Project:
The thesis project combines the various objectives of mastering a profession. Students indicate their ability to apply what they have learned in solving a professional problem and developing their professional field. The thesis project may be investigative or it may be linked to product planning or applications in their own field. The thesis project may be a product, a production or an expressive work. Most thesis project topics are from business life, in which case the client may be a company, a community or a public organisation. The topic and client may also be from another country and/or the thesis project may be completed in another country.

Maturity Exam:
Students complete a maturity exam, related to their thesis project, which indicates their familiarity with the field and their language skills in Finnish or English.
