Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

 
Satisfactory skills
The student has vague understanding of the role of research and development activity as part of today’s professional expertise. The student has satisfactory knowledge of the Bachelor´s Hospitality Management thesis and various research processes and methods. He/she has basic skills to retrieve, use, assess and apply information during the thesis process and he/she has challenges in applying the gained knowledge in his/her own thesis project. The student has satisfactory written and oral skills of English. He/she has some problems when using the right referencing style and his/her use of sources does not always follow the principles and regulations given. His/her creativity skills in his/her written and/or oral communication are at a basic level. The English skills of the student are satisfactory. The student shows limited analytical, reflective and critical approach in most his/her activities. The student follows mostly the thesis group supervision process according to the given schedule. All the assignments are mostly performed according to the instructions.

Good skills
The student understands the role of research and development activity as part of today’s professional expertise. The student has good knowledge of the Bachelor´s Hospitality Management thesis and various research processes and methods. He/she is able to retrieve, use, assess and apply information during the thesis process and in addition he/she can mostly apply the gained knowledge in his/her own thesis project. The student has good written and oral skills of English. He/she knows the main principles of the right referencing style and is able to use the most sources in an ethical and academic manner. His/her creativity skills in his/her written and/or oral communication are at a good level. The English skills of the student are good. The student shows analytical, reflective and critical approach in most his/her activities. The student follows mostly the thesis group supervision process according to the given schedule. All the assignments are mostly performed according to the instructions.

Excellent skills
The student understands fully the role of research and development activity as part of today’s professional expertise. The student has profound knowledge of the Bachelor´s Hospitality Management thesis and various research processes and methods. He/she is able to retrieve, use, assess and apply information critically during the thesis process and in addition he/she can apply the gained knowledge in his/her own thesis project. The student shows excellent written and oral skills of English in his/her communication. He/she knows the right style of referencing and knows how to use sources in an ethical and academic manner. His/her creativity skills in his written and/or oral communication are at an excellent level. The English skills of the student are very fluent. The student shows analytical, reflective and critical approach in all his/her activities. The student follows the thesis group supervision process according to the given schedule. All the assignments are performed according to the instructions.
